The Weber School District Student Art Show is a yearly tradition that has phenomenal support from the Weber School District Foundation. Awards are presented that are backed up by generous monetary support from the Foundation itself. This gives our students a ‘real artist experience’ of participating in a show and receiving monetary awards. Many of these same students graduate school and continue on in their art career to become commercial artists, fine artists, illustrators, photographers and visual communication artists. Being part of this art show and the experience that they received helps them to decide to pursue an art career.
The caliber of art is impressive. WSD has one of the top art programs in the state and the support from the teachers, community, administration, district, foundation and parents is what makes this possible. The show has grown from smaller venues to the Eccles Art Center. Also the show has grown from a one week to running an entire month. These students participate in many shows throughout the school year but the WSD Art Show at the Eccles Community Art Center is the highpoint for the students.
Thank you to:

Eccles Community Art Center. The caliber of art in the WSD show has been recognized by the Eccles Community Art Center and they have generously offered their facility to showcase our student’s art.
