✨ Something NEW is STARting in our district! ✨
Introducing Starbound Unified Cheer! 📣
This brand-new team brings together cheerleaders from across our district alongside students with disabilities who share a love for cheer, creating a team built on inclusion, friendship, teamwork, and school spirit.
And now, they’re ready to make their debut!
Bonneville High School will be hosting the Unified Soccer Tournament on September 24th, and Starbound Unified Cheer will be there to cheer on our athletes and perform for the very first time!
We couldn’t be more excited to watch this team take the floor. Help us show Starbound Unified Cheer just how much our community is behind them!
Come out, cheer loud, and help us make their first performance one they’ll never forget!

As part of a project with Weber School Foundation, Virtual Rain assembled over 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ pantry packs for food pantries and resource centers in our district! Each pack represents practical support for someone who may be having a difficult time.
We appreciate Virtual Rain for giving their time and effort to help make a difference right here in our community! 💙

Last week, our team brought Ogden Raptors players into elementary schools across the district for a fun and inspiring visit.
The message? Show up. Do your best. Stay disciplined. Work hard in the classroom. And be a great teammate.
We can’t think of a better group to deliver that message than baseball players who know a thing or two about practice, teamwork, and showing up. ⚾

Some people give back once in a while. These four WSD employees choose to give from every single paycheck. 💙
We recently drew four names from our employee donors who make a recurring gift to the WSD Foundation. Their generosity helps support the students and schools in our community, and we’re so grateful for their commitment.

Our team recently stepped away from the day-to-day for a retreat focused on reflecting on the past year, looking ahead to what’s next, and setting personal and team goals for the year ahead.
Of course, no retreat is complete without a little time to relax! We wrapped up with a delicious lunch and some well-deserved pool time. ☀️🌊
Feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready to make some big things happen together. We really are a dream team. ✨

It was a pretty great night at the ballpark! From Foundation Board Chair Jeremy Dunn taking the mound for the first pitch ⚾️ to the Weber High Chamber Choir’s beautiful National Anthem, the Ogden Raptors helped us kick off a memorable evening celebrating some of the incredible educators in our community.

Congratulations to Marnie Favero, Monique Nielsen, and Chancy Kelley, along with all of our educator honorees! We’re grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the people who make such a difference for students every day.
